The SS card should say "Not allowed to work without DHS authorization" or something of that kind, that's all that matters. The Social Security Number you have is assigned to you, and should reflect your real name.

Get to a supervisor or call some more central office.

That said, if the health insurance company doesn't complain - just leave it at it. You may have issues if you're applying for credit cards/loans and they notice the name mismatch so you'll need to fix it if you have such plans.
