I have been with my company for 8 years. I have been offered to work at our Headquarters in Germany. It would be for 6 months to a year. I am a Canadian citizen and I was convicted of impaired driving 5 years ago and I have a criminal record.

The position in Germany would begin next year - 2020. I can also apply for a pardon for my criminal record in February 2020 (takes 6 months to process).

Will I be denied a German Employment Visa? I see one of the requirements is a "clean criminal record", but are there any chances I could work in Germany?
