I want to open a bank account in South Korea, in order to rent an apartment. In South Korea generally you must deposit huge amount of money, usually at least 5M to 10M KRW and I want to use the account to receive the deposit when I move out of the rent.

However, I don't have any visa since I will enter it as, theoretically, a traveler. I can stay up to 90 days without visa and after that I will reenter it again by staying in China for a few days.

Is there any bank that lets me open a bank account in this case? I need neither the credit card service nor the bank loan, just the basic deposit and withdraw functionality is enough.
