How can I have my child born in Australia without going bankrupt?
Does your answer regarding costs include obstetrician check-ups and such, or purely the delivery at a hospital?

Germany: What to do if work seeking visa expires?
What prevents you from searching for new solutions now? Isn't it better to have a few opportunities running in parallel?

@SztupY Me and my wife have separate insurances. If my wife doesn't deregister with the municipality she'll need to fly back for it in her recovery period. 3 months isn't enough. Also, our EHIC card must be valid, which would be quickly found out.

In the Netherlands, they would be if the parents are covered. Child health care in NL "piggy backs" for free on parent insurance.

I haven't seen that anywhere. Got a source for me? Dutch sources are fine too.

From which countries can Australian companies no longer sponsor candidates without testing the local labour market?
@lafemmecosmique That's the same skepticism that I felt after reading their responses. Even in the last quote, he kind of admits that they don't want to bend to the new rules, because they allegedly compromise their policies. I know for a fact that they need to prove to Immigration that they tried for a month to acquire local talent before being allowed to source a foreigner.
