In 2020 I will get my PR in Germany, however in 2021 my passport will expire in May and I will have to wait till September to reach 30 years old and be able to apply at my embassy for a new passport (Egypt: fromfrom the age of 29 till 30, males are not able to renew their passports unless they give a final exemption from the military service).

Are these 4 months going to be a problem? I am not willing to travel in this period anyway, but can I expect any trouble with the Auslanderbehörde because of my expired passport in that period?

Permanent residency in Germany with an expired passport
