Oct 10 at 8:59 comment added Gala @KaiSqDist What you mean is still not completely clear to me. AFAIK, an application after a VLS-TS is not a renewal, it's exactly the same than an application after a VLS. You should get a récépissé but not one that allows you to travel.
Oct 9 at 18:52 comment added KaiSqDist My question is - does the prefecture consider the fact that you have had a VLS-TS before (even when you applied for a residence permit with a VLS) in giving you the récépissé (that allows you to travel)?
Oct 9 at 17:42 comment added Gala @KaiSqDist Doesn't the answer already cover that? Not sure I understand your question.
Oct 5 at 20:03 comment added KaiSqDist Thank you for your answer, what happens if I apply for a carte sejour using a VLS (not a renewal), but I have had a residence permit before? For example, a VLS-TS? I applied for a carte sejour using a VLS because I did it outside of France.
