If you aren't married, it's complicated but as a rule of thumb, it's necessary to have lived together for two years (pp. 13-14). It's possible to qualify with less, e.g. if you have a child together, but it's very unlikely to work. I will add that to the answer.

Do you think if we were living together one year and half (more or less) is enough to show that we are an stable couple? Or it is required to be married?
